In this session, we will discuss the course proposal preparation process for the new General Education (GE) program. Participants will leave the session with a clearer understanding of the course proposal timeline, materials, and available support. This Deep Dive Session will take place over Zoom.

Session 2: Demystifying the GE Course Review Process

In this session, we will hear from Dr. Susan Miller-Cochran (Executive Director of General Education) and Dr. Joan Curry (Chair of the University-Wide General Education Committee) about “nuts and bolts” of the course proposal review process. The conversation will focus on key considerations for transitioning courses to the new curriculum, what to expect during the faculty governance review process, and suggested pathways for support.
