Finding Fit in GE: Exploring Perspectives and Building Connections

Join us on Mondays during the month of November to learn more about the two curricular categories, Exploring Perspectives and Building Connections, and where your course may find fit in the new General Education. These workshops are intended to provide additional, optional support for individuals working through the Self-Paced Quick Start materials.

During these sessions you will learn about the unique features of both attributes, the interplay between them, and how they extend beyond the previous GenEd Diversity Emphasis. Join us on Wednesdays during the month of November to learn more about the Writing Attribute. During this session, you will learn about the ways in which the Writing Attribute supports 1) writing as a process through activities and assignments, 2) diverse ways of engaging students in writing beyond the classic essay format, and 3) engaging students in various field-specific writing experiences. These workshops are intended to provide additional, optional support for individuals working through the Self-Paced Quick Start materials.
