Learning Assistant Quick Start
The Learning Assistant Quick Start Program is being offered this fall with Dr. Amy Graham. The goal of this program is to help Learning Assistants (defined as anyone who facilitates learning: preceptors, TAs, tutors, instructors, etc.) get up to speed in methods to support learning. If you are using Active Learning methods or teaching in a Collaborative Learning Space, this is an excellent opportunity for you and/or your learning teams to become better acquainted with the best practices for teaching and learning in these environments. The expected time commitment for the course is roughly 5-6 hours.
This course is being offered August 15-19th in an asynchronous online format, with an optional in-person wrap-up event on Friday, August 19, from 8:00-9:30am that will include opportunities for instructional teams to meet in-person to become acquainted and strategize for the fall semester.
