The Student Fair from 3-5 will feature numerous hands-on activities, including "Drop-in Stations" and "Research Excursions" that challenge students to identify solutions to grand challenges using research and quantitative reasoning. At the end of each Excursions, students will win a postcard commemorating their engagement with the research process! 

Drop-in Stations will include: 

• A “Talk back” board;
• M&M candy estimates (get closest to the number of M&Ms in a jar and win the M&Ms in the jar!);
• Bullet Journals;
• Google Maps / Earth activities;
• Mentimeter Demo
   

Excursions will include: 

• Selecting & understanding a challenge; 
• Identifying the data needed; 
• Analyzing data; 

• Proposing a solution.
