Notes
- Completion AND certification of the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) guarantees satisfaction of all UArizona general education requirements. Certification of AGEC completion must be done by the last Arizona community college attended.
- Transfer students do not need to take UNIV 101 OR 301.
- "EP" = Exploring Perspectives.
- Boolean operators are rendered in ALL CAPS in the above table (e.g., "AND," "OR"). In cases where the conjunction "and" is used within titles, an ampersand is used (e.g., "Traditions & Cultures").
- Though both of UArizona's General Education curricula are satisfied through AGEC General Education equivalencies, there are important differences between the curricula, most notably:
- The Tiers curriculum is 36 units in total, whereas the New curriculum is 32 units in total;
- The Tiers curriculum typically requires students to take Tier 1 courses before Tier 2 courses; in the New curriculum, students may take Exploring Perspectives or Building Connections courses in any order.
